Equip Your People to Share Jesus Christ at the Festival and Beyond

San Diego CityFest will provide a free Counselor Training Kit for your church. This kit includes everything necessary for training a group (large or small) to counsel individuals who respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ at the festival and encourage them in relational evangelism.

1. Set a faith-sized goal for the number of counselors your church will train.

2. Determine a plan to implement trainings that will maximize church member participation.

3. Train festival counselors by using the Counselor Training kit in:

  • Small Groups
  • Sunday School Classes
  • Midweek and Saturday services
  • Youth Events
  • Adult Education classes
  • Ministry groups for singles, men, and women

4. Post a schedule of available training opportunities on your website and in your Sunday bulletin.

5. Make sure every person is registered as having attended a training.

These kits will be available after May 15, 2010. Attendance at one training session or online is REQUIRED in order to counsel at the festival. The deadline to register your group is August 31, 2010. Registration is required to counsel!
