FOLLOW UP

Coming to faith in Jesus Christ is an exciting, life-changing event. We anticipate hundreds - even thousands! - of people to respond to the Gospel at CityFest. But equally important is following up with (discipling) each of these new or recommitted believers. They will need resources, help, encouragement and a place among believers to call home. Make sure your church is prepared to respond.

"Therefore go and make disciples." - Matthew 28:19

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6

As a partnering church, a couple of days after the festival you will receive a list of those who responded in your church’s area. You must submit a plan (see below). Here is what you can do now to be ready:

Establish a follow-up strategy for those who respond to Christ and are referred to your church after the festival.
Submit this plan to the CityFest office prior to the festival.
Welcome the new believers who are referred to your church from the festival.
Submit to the CityFest office a report on how follow-up is going.
